Michael John Zambeck of Norvell, age 67, passed away unexpectedly at home January 29, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Dorothy (McNiven) Zambeck; brothers, Nicholas and Thomas Zambeck. Michael is survived by his wife, Gail; daughter, Leslie Crawford; grandchildren, Mark, Elizabeth and Ryder; son, Jason Zambeck; siblings, Carol (Larry) Showler, Kay (Jack) Roe, Joseph Zambeck, James (Theresa) Zambeck and Donna (Dan) Korody; many nieces and nephews. Michael was a graduate of Henry Ford and the University of Tennessee where he received his Mechanical Engineering Degree. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp for seven years achieving the rank of Captain. Michael was a thoughtful caring member of the community, always willing to offer a helping hand. He enjoyed working outdoors, boating and spending time with his beloved Springer Spaniels. Visitation will be Friday from 1-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Sherwood Funeral Home, Grass Lake. Interment Norvell Cemetery.
